This World Alzheimer’s Month, we’re creating a space at Cheras LeisureMall for our community to come together, ask questions and learn more about dementia through Together for Dementia Awareness 2026, guided by the theme “The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters.”

 26 & 27 September 2026 | 11AM – 5PM

Across the two days, you and your family can take part in FREE Influenza Vaccinations for those aged 60 and above, basic health screening for all ages, a FREE 2-Hour Community Dementia Care Skills Training, and other engaging activities throughout the weekend. 

 FREE Community Dementia Care Skills Training | 3PM – 5PM
The interactive session will help participants understand dementia and its various stages, paired with practical ways to support and interact with people living with dementia.

The 2-hour training is completely FREE, but slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early via https://tr.ee/kPhAv1 or scan the QR code in the post to secure your spot.

In collaboration with Hua Xia Private & International School, the IAP World Tour – Community Art Exhibition 2026 brings together a vibrant showcase of creativity by young artists from various schools.

Featuring over 100 artworks, the two-day event offers visitors an inspiring celebration of art and creativity, complemented by interactive art workshops and demonstrations, as well as a gala and award ceremony recognising the talents of participating young artists.
