Mid-Autumn’s Lantern Art Contest
Show us your very own version of Mid-Autumn by participating in our Lantern Art Contest from the comfort of your home and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to a total of RM31,300.00!
Interested participants are required to pre-register at LG Information Counter with an entry fee of RM5.00. All fees collected will go to Cheras LeisureMall (CLM)’s “Give. Share. Love” campaign which aims to provide help to the underprivileged community.
The categories of this Contest are as follows:-
Stay Home, Make Art: Parent & Child Category
Category A: 4-8 years old
Category B: 9-13 years old
Category C: 14-18 years old
Submission Date: 23 August 2020

2. Participants to create a lantern artwork with the round paper lantern provided by the organizer with the theme of “Mid-Autumn Festival & Moon” at home

MID-AUTUMN LANTERN ART CONTEST (“CONTEST”)

1. The categories of this Contest are as follows:- | ||
| Parent-Child Category | ||
| Category A: 4-8 years old; Category B: 9-13 years old; Category C: 14-18 years old | ||
| 2. | Interested participants can register at the Information Counter located at LG Concourse with an entry fee of RM5 (a round paper lantern will be provided). Participants are required to submit the completed lantern not later by 23 August 2020. The artwork for the lantern must feature the Mid-Autumn Festival theme and moon. All produce must be newly made from the lantern collected at Information Counter and have not been participating in any other Lantern competition. |
| 3. | The score and ranking for the prizes will be based on judges’ scores (which consist of 80% of the total score) and public voting scores (which consist of 20% of the total score). The 80% judges’ score will be based on neatness, creativity, colour combination and the overall presentation of the lantern. |
| 4. | There will be a 100 Excellence Award based on judges’ scores (which consist of 80% of the total score) and public voting scores (which consist of 20% of the total score).The 33 participants from all categories with the highest number of public votes will walk away with the People’s Choice Award (Top 3 Most Popular and 30 Popular). Each member of the public can redeem a voting chance for their preferred choice of lantern with any purchase in a single receipt on the same day of purchase at the Information Counter located at LG Concourse from 10 September 2020 to 4 October 2020. |
| 5. | The judges’ decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained. |
| 6. | Participants hereby agree to allow the organizer to retain the lantern submitted during the Contest for display at Cheras LeisureMall. |
| 7. | The organizer reserves the right and sole and absolute discretion to reject and disqualify any lantern deemed unsuitable for display, offensive in nature or which are not compliant with the Rules and Regulations of the Contest. |
| 8. | The organizer reserves the right to disqualify winners who are found to be in breach of the Rules & Regulations stated herein. |
| 9. | Each winner is entitled to one prize only and all prizes are not exchangeable for cash. |
| 10. | Winners are required to collect the prize at Management Office from 15 October 2020 to 31 October 2020 after the announcement of the Contest results on 12 October 2020. No claim of prizes will be entertained after closure of the collection date. |
| 11. | Each winner is entitled to one prize only and all prizes are not exchangeable for cash. |
| 12. | The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused to the lanterns after the lanterns have been submitted to the organizer during the Contest day and no claims whatsoever can be made against the organizer in such an event. Lanterns which have been submitted to the organizer for the Contest are not returnable. |
| 13. | The organizer retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs and/or video recordings of the participants including all materials submitted during the Contest for the purposes of advertising and/or trade publicity for promotions, without any prior notice to the participants and/or their parents/guardians who by submitting their entries to the Contest hereby consent or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to such use by the organizer. All participants and/or their parents/guardians on behalf of the participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of claims or compensation whatsoever on any of the materials submitted to enter the Contest. By submitting an entry to the Contest, each participant and/or their parents/guardians hereby consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Group Berhad. |
| 14. | Upon registering for the Contest, the participant and/or their parent/guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of this Contest and the participant and/or their parents/guardians acknowledge that he/she has read and understood PPB Group Berhad’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice which can be found on Cheras LeisureMall’s Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/notes/cheras-leisuremall/ppb-group-berhads-privacy-policy-and-personal-data-notice/916941438344361/) and consents or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein.
