Layang-Layang Drawing Contest (the “Contest”)

RULES & REGULATIONS
1. This Contest is open to all participants aged 4 to 18 years old. The categories of this Contest are as following:-
a. Category A: 4-8 years old
b. Category B: 9-13 years old
c. Category C: 14-18 years old

2. Interested participants can register from 1 March 2021 till 31 March 2021 at the Information Counter located at LG Concourse with a deposit of RM5 (a Layang Layang frame will be provided) which will be refunded during the submission of the Layang Layang. Participants are required to submit the completed Layang Layang not later by 4 April 2021. The artwork for the Layang Layang must feature the Hari Raya theme. All submission of the Layang Layang must be newly made from the Layang Layang frame collected at Information Counter and have not been used to participate in any other Layang Layang competition.
3. The score and ranking for the 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize and 10 Consolation Prizes for each category will be based on judges’ scores. The judges’ score will be based on neatness, creativity, colour combination and the overall presentation. There are a total of thirteen (13) prizes for each category, which comprise of:
(i) 1st Prize x 1 Winner : Huawei MatePad T8 worth RM559
(ii) 2nd Prize x 1 Winner : Canon PIXMA E470 All in One Printer worth RM399
(iii) 3rd Prize x 1 Winner : Mi Redmi 9A worth RM359
(iv) Consolation Prize x 10 Winners : Mi LCD Writing Tablet worth RM99
4. The judges’ decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
5. Participants hereby agree to allow the organizer to retain the Layang Layang submitted during the Contest for display at Cheras LeisureMall.
6. The organizer reserves the right and sole and absolute discretion to reject and disqualify any Layang Layang deemed unsuitable for display, offensive in nature or which are not compliant with the Rules & Regulations of the Contest.
7. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify winners who are found to be in breach of the Rules & Regulations stated herein.
8. Each winner is entitled to one prize only and all prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
9. Winners will be announced via Cheras LeisureMall’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Cheras-LeisureMall-134419769929869/) on 19 April 2021 and winners are required to collect the prize at the organizer’s office located at Level 7, Cheras Plaza, No. 11, Jalan Manis 1, Taman Segar 56100 Kuala Lumpur from 21 April 2021 to 4 May 2021. All unclaimed prizes after the collection period will be forfeited.
10. The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused to the Layang Layang after the Layang Layang have been submitted to the organizer during the Contest day and no claims whatsoever can be made against the organizer in such an event. Layang Layang which have been submitted to the organizer for the Contest are not returnable.
11. The organizer will not be responsible for any accident, mishap, death, damage or injuries occurring during the Contest or in connection with the Contest in any manner whatsoever. No claims of any kind can be made against the organizer. Participants agree to be bound by the rules, regulations and final decision of the organizer.
12. The organizer retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs and/or video recordings of the participants including all materials submitted during the Contest for the purposes of advertising and/or trade publicity for promotions, without any prior notice to the participants and/or their parents/guardians who by submitting their entries to the Contest hereby consent or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to such use by the organizer. All participants and/or their parents/guardians on behalf of the participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of claims or compensation whatsoever on any of the materials submitted to enter the Contest. By submitting an entry to the Contest, each participant and/or their parents/guardians hereby consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Group Berhad.
13. Upon registering for the Contest, the participant and/or their parent/guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of this Contest and the participant and/or their parents/guardians acknowledge that he/she has read and understood PPB Group Berhad’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice which can be found on Cheras LeisureMall’s Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/notes/cheras-leisuremall/ppb-group-berhads-privacy-policy-and-personal-data-notice/916941438344361/) and consents or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein. 14. The organizer reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to amend the terms and conditions mentioned above or in connection with the Contest at any time without prior notice.
15. The organizer reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.
16. The organizer’s decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
