TAPIR TRAILS ART COMPETITION (the “Competition”) 

Category A Colouring Competition

Category B Poster Drawing Competition

Date : 2 November 2025
Time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Venue : Lower Ground Concourse, Cheras LeisureMall

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. The Competition, organised by PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd (“Organiser”) is open to participants aged 3 to 12 years old. Two categories of this Competition as follows:
   
   Categories:
   Theme: Follow the Trails, Discover Tapirs
   
   a. Colouring competition
   Ages 3-6 years old 
   
   b. Poster drawing competition
   Ages 7-12 years old
   
   Participants must be accompanied by their parent/guardian during the Competition.
2. Interested participants may register until 30 October 2025 and submit an entry for the Competition through the registration form (https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/scen2PNCMj). Limited seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. All participants are required to bring their own art materials (i.e. scissors, paper cutter, multi-coloured cellophane papers, decorative items, colour paper, glue, old newspaper or cutting mat, stationaries and colouring materials such as colour pencils, poster colour, magic colour pens, fluorescent marker & etc) on the Competition day.
4. The artwork must adhere to the respective category themes. All drawing, colouring, cutting and pasting must be done during the Competition duration.
5. The Organiser will provide each participant with an A4 art paper for the participants to colour for Category A.
6. Category B participants will be provided an A3 art paper with a single design element as the base of their artwork. Participants may design and decorate the rest of their artwork according to their creativity.
7. The score and ranking for the prizes will be based on judges’ scores. The judges’ score will be based on creativity, neatness, colour combination, proximity to theme and overall presentation. The score will be deducted if the artwork is completed with ready-made items or done by the parent/guardian. If more than 70% of the artwork is done by parent/guardian, it shall be deemed disqualified.
8. Both categories will be awarded the following prizes:

   First prize: Besta Electronic Dictionary worth RM498 + certificate
   Second prize: Besta Electronic Dictionary worth RM199 + certificate
   Third prize: Pop Bazic School Bag ​worth RM130 + certificate
   Consolation Prize x 5​: Popular bookstore vouchers worth ​RM50 + certificate
10. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another item of the same value without prior notice.
11. The judges’ decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
12. The Organiser reserves the right and sole and absolute discretion to reject and disqualify any artwork deemed unsuitable for display, offensive in nature or which are not compliant with the Rules and Regulations of the Competition.
13. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify winners who are found to be in breach of the Rules and Regulations stated herein.
14. Each winner is entitled to one prize only and all prizes are not exchangeable for cash.
15. Winners' announcement and prize presentation will be held on the respective categories event day.
16. The Organiser will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused to the A4 paper with design after the paper have been submitted to the Organiser and no claims whatsoever can be made against the Organiser in such an event. All artworks which have been submitted to the Organiser for the Competition are not returnable.
17. The Organiser will not be responsible for any accident, mishap, death, damage or injuries occurring during the Competition or in connection with the Competition in any manner whatsoever. No claims of any kind can be made against the Organiser. Participants agree to be bound by the Rules and Regulations and final decision of the Organiser.
18. The Organiser retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs and/or video recordings of the participants including all materials submitted during the Competition for the purposes of advertising and/or trade publicity for promotions, without any prior notice to the participants and/or their parents/guardians who by submitting their entries to the Competition hereby consent or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to such use by the Organiser. All participants and/or their parents/guardians on behalf of the participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of claims or compensation whatsoever on any of the materials submitted to enter the Competition. By submitting an entry to the Competition, each participant and/or their parents/guardians hereby consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Group Berhad.
19. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to amend the Rules and Regulations mentioned above or in connection with the Competition at any time without prior notice.
20. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
21. The Organiser’s decision on any and all matters in respect of the Competition is final and conclusive and no further, challenges, objections, requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
22. Upon submitting an entry to the Competition, the participant and/or their parent/guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the Rules and Regulations of this Competition and the participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice which can be found on PPB Properties’ website (https://ppbproperties.com.my/personal-data-protection-notice) and consents to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein.
