SAVE THE SUNBEARS ART COMPETITION (the “Competition”)

Category A: Colouring Competition

Category B: Poster Drawing Competition

Date : 26 April 2026
Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Venue : Lower Ground Concourse, Cheras LeisureMall

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The Competition, organised by PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd (“Organiser”) is open to participants aged 3 to 12 years old. Two categories of this Competition as follows:
   
   Categories:
   Theme: Small Bear, Big Role in the Forest
   a. Colouring competition
   Ages 3-6 years old
   
   b. Poster drawing competition
   Ages 7-12 years old

Participants must be accompanied by their parent/guardian during the Competition.

2. Interested participants may register until 21 April 2026 and submit an entry for the Competition through the registration form (https://forms.office.com/r/LjZx8MLBQL). 
    
3. Limited seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
    
4. All participants are required to arrive on time for registration, as the registration counter will be closed at 1.45pm sharp. Any latecomers after 1.45pm will not be permitted to participate in the Competition.
    
5. All participants are required to bring their own art materials (i.e. scissors, paper cutter, multi-coloured cellophane papers, decorative items, colour paper, glue, old newspaper or cutting mat, stationaries and colouring materials such as colour pencils, poster colour, magic colour pens, fluorescent marker & etc) on the Competition day.
    
6. The artwork must adhere to the respective category themes. All drawing, colouring, cutting and pasting must be done during the Competition. 
    
7. The Organiser will provide each Category A participant with an A4 art paper with a design for the participants to colour. All Category B participants will be provided with a blank A3 art paper to draw, according to their creativity.
    
8. The scores and rankings for the prizes will be based on the judges’ scores. The judges’ score will be based on creativity, neatness, colour combination, proximity to theme and overall presentation. Points will be deducted if the artwork is completed with ready-made items or done by the parent/guardian. If more than 70% of the artwork is done by parent/guardian, it shall be deemed disqualified. 
    

9. Both categories will be awarded the following prizes:

   Prizes:
   First prize: Besta Electronic Dictionary worth RM498 + Sun Bear soft toy worth RM47 + certificate
   Second prize: Besta Electronic Dictionary MD221 worth RM199 + Sun Bear soft toy worth RM47 + certificate
   Third prize: Stabilo Swan Arty Color Pencil 1520 100s worth RM145 + Sun Bear soft toy worth RM47 + certificate

   Consolation Prize x 5​ per category
   Category A: Animal Story Bundle Book worth RM52 + Sun Bear soft toy worth RM47 + certificate
   Category B: Wildlife Wong Book Series worth RM76 + Sun Bear soft toy worth RM47 + certificate
    

10. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another item of the same value without prior notice.
     
11. The judges’ decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained. 
     
12. The Organiser reserves the right and sole and absolute discretion to reject and disqualify any artwork deemed unsuitable for display, offensive in nature or which does not comply with the Rules and Regulations of the Competition.
     
13. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify winners who are found to be in breach of the Rules and Regulations stated herein. 
     
14. Each winner is entitled to one prize only and all prizes are not exchangeable for cash. 
     
15. Winners' announcement and prize presentation will be held on the respective category’s event day. 
     
16. The Organiser will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused after the paper have been submitted to the Organiser and no claims whatsoever can be made against the Organiser in such an event. All artworks which have been submitted to the Organiser for the Competition are not returnable. 
     
17. The Organiser will not be responsible for any accident, mishap, death, damage or injuries occurring during the Competition or in connection with the Competition in any manner whatsoever. No claims of any kind can be made against the Organiser. Participants agree to be bound by the Rules and Regulations and final decision of the Organiser.
     
18. The Organiser retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs and/or video recordings of the participants including all materials submitted during the Competition for the purposes of advertising and/or trade publicity for promotions, without any prior notice to the participants and/or their parents/guardians who by submitting their entries to the Competition hereby consent or for parents/guardians, have consented on behalf of the participants, to such use by the Organiser. All participants and/or their parents/guardians on behalf of the participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of claims or compensation whatsoever on any of the materials submitted to enter the Competition. By submitting an entry to the Competition, each participant and/or their parents/guardians hereby consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd. 
     
19. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to amend the Rules and Regulations mentioned above or in connection with the Competition at any time without prior notice. 
     
20. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice. 
     
21. The Organiser’s decision on any and all matters in respect of the Competition is final and conclusive and no further, challenges, objections, requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained. 
     
22. Upon submitting an entry to the Competition, the participant and/or their parent/guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the Rules and Regulations of this Competition and the participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice which can be found on PPB Properties’ website (https://ppbproperties.com.my/personal-data-protection-notice) and consents to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein.
